How does Laser work?

It gives off a low level pulsating light that is applied to acupuncture points on your body. In theory, it penetrates your skin releasing endorphins that supposedly cut out the cravings for Nicotine!!!

They apply the Laser to your ears, hands, wrists, arms and the side of your nose for the quit smoking treatment.

They say that you can be cured after just one 30 minute treatment – even if you are a hardened 20-a-day smoker and have been for 20 years.

Officials from laser companies say it tricks the mind and body BUT you should still take over-the-counter antioxidants and continue to watch videos that come with the programme to be able to quit smoking!!!

The cost is around $400.00 and this seems to be a price that is offered wherever a person is offering the treatment.

Medical evidence, in the form of properly conducted ‘Clinical Trials’, shows that its effectiveness is indistinguishable from that of a Placebo.

This form of quit smoking therapy which some professionals believe to be ineffective has never been approved by the FDA. The FDA were petitioned to immediately stop the illegal marketing and promoting of laser treatment for smoking cessation!!!
